Day 4

We left our hotel in South Dakota this morning, and stopped at the Cabela's next door to stock up on some more fudge. To my great disappointment, they did not have tigers milk =( oh well, maybe the next one will!

Essentially, we drove all day, and I have nothing very exciting to write about.
We stopped at this slightly creepy looking gas station in minnesota, which is also filled with a lot of fireworks. We assumed that the owner was some hick, but it ended up that he was a really nice retired teacher with a master's degree. He eats buffalo meat, and claims that it is the key to a long, healthy life. He also grows buffalo out back.

Other than that, we did absolutley nothing of interest. We got bored, so we had a funny face competition. I personally thought that I blew the other contestants out of the water, but we agreed to put them up here and let you vote!

So after a about 10 hours of driving, we finally arrived in Sycamore, Illinois (outside of Chicago). We had dinner with my mom's friend Flo, and are back at our hotel now. We are staying at an old hotel called the Stratford Inn, and it's pretty cool! We are planning on going into the city and seeing some cool things tomorrow, so hopefully we'll have more interesting pictures.
